So the other night at 3 am I couldn't sleep and it was a full moon and I kept wondering what a picture that I had been scouting might look like under moon light with a star trail. Well 30 min later I was by the side of the road. I am pretty happy with the result. Some of the flowers are a little blurry since the exposure was over 25 seconds long but otherwise I am pleased. Those are a farm of echinacea and the Mountain is Adams by the way.
A couple nights later The perseid meteor shower was near peaking so I headed up to Mount Hood for a couple of tries. I got a few shots that had meteors but not as many as I had hoped.
You can see a faint meteor in the middle of the milky way
